Default two simple questions

I've got two simple questions:
1) I'd like to installa solaris 9 on my pc, where I've got Linux. Is it
possible to make them living together? How can I setup LILO to load
solaris?
2) how to interpret the solaris disk identifiers? For example:
c0t0d0s7
what does it mean? I'm not very practic, since I come from Linux.

Luca

Typically Slice 0 of a disk is for the root partition, and slice 1 is
for swap space. Slice 2 is the entire disk, so if you mess with that
you hose the disk. If you use Veritas then it typically uses slice 3
and 4 for it's virtual disk management. Slice 5,6, and 7 don't
typically have any standardized use that I know of.
