| Looks like the system board is useless now ... UNLESS: 1) I can locate an OBP & POST installation package for the board (P/N 501-4854) 2) I can get the bad OBP to break and give me an "ok" prompt 3) I can find some way to update the PROM via the serial port If anyone can provide info for these tasks, I sure would appreciate it. Just a thought. It might not be worth the effort. |

I haven't heard/seen much of late...? Sorry I couldn't be of assistance - the last hex keypad I used was to punch cards in about 1977 for COBOL batch - I skipped PROM programmers :-( |
