Default Urgent ! Connection Timeout - RST Packets send back by Sun Server

BismillahirRehmanirRahim

Hi Admin,

We have a Server in our Private LAN, we assigned Pvt IP to it.

Its required to connect to this Server from other Public IP Servers,

so we did the NATING for this.

The problem is that when we did connectivity Test we are unable to

connect to this Server from other Public IPs.

Server is behind the Firewall and required ports are opend at the

Firewall.

On Investigating we found out that TCP Packets are reaching to the

Server but the Server is out accepting the connection and returing

RST [Reset] Packets which causing Connection Timeouts.

Does anyone know, what and where might be the problem.

For testing, to allow connection from anywhere in /etc/hosts.allow i

puted :
ALL ALL

Its very urgent , appreciate your prompt Replies.

Hi All,

I forgot to mention that i am able to connect to this Server from
other Pvt LANs.

But Today when we tested connection from outside Public IP with NATED
IP configuraion its not connecting.

I strongly believe the problem is in NATED Configuration, as Firewall
is allowing the packets no drop no rejection monitored.

And we tried tracert & ping it reached the Server.

but when i try ssh , telnet , TNS and http it gave connection timeout.

Hope to hear soon from you.
