| Hi, I have a V240 that is currently in "bare metal" state (no OS), that I can't get a console connection on. I earlier had problems even getting into the ALOM because I had set of buggered cables, but now I can get in. However, once I break into the ALOM, when I issue the console command, it just hangs and I never get an eeprom/ok> monitor. I get the message "Enter #. to return to ALOM" but that is all. "console -f" doesn't work either. I can press the enter key all day and the cursor goes nowhere. I can issue "#." and get back to the sc> prompt and so on but not console. I am at a complete loss what to do next. If anyone can help me, that would be useful! I checked all the SRDB's and infodocs regarding V240 ALOM and none of them helped - not even the one that mentioned setting some variable from 1 to 0 and so on. Can someone please help me?! Thanks.... rachel |
