hi,
can anyone explain me what are the benefits of running informix with Aix 5.3
and the 64 bits kernel ?
what will change in the everyday life ?

Faster engine performance, more memory available for sorting, buffers, large
PDQ queries. Some ONCONFIG options have higher max values on 64bit (notably
LRUS goes to 256 max from 128 in 32bit servers).
