Antwort: Informix OLTP Server Sizing

I have a Sun V480, 2cpus, 4GB RAM an 200GB of Storage, Solaris 9, IDS
7.31FD5 and 600 concurrent Users. Works fine.

But these users don't do much. It would be better if you tell us about the
complexity of your application, which Database, OS and Server you
currently use and what your current problem is.

Hi,

I would like to know If there is any Informix reccommendations for IDS
on Unix Server.

Mainly for OLTP environment with hundreds of users,
IDS versions 7.31 and 9.x on Unix platforms,
in terms of RAM,Processor, Storage.

also would like to know how to reach figures based on per user,data in
gigabytes,etc.
