Chinese characters

I installed Informix on English version Windows XP (Professional). I
set the XP's regional settings to "Chinese PRC" and environment
variables: CLIENT_LOCALE=zh_CN.gb, DB_LOCALE=zh_CN.gb. Then I loaded
some data with chinese characters from a text UNL file by using
dbaccess. However, the data wasn't readable (blanks and garbage
characters) after I unloaded the data into a text file by using
dbaccess. Any idea?
