Hi,

I've a pb to connect to ifx. I get error message 952 with ODBC. I
tried with dbaccess and I surprised with 2 behaviours :
- first, I launch dbaccess, user is registred, it works
- I try to pass by menu "connect" and it reject me with all
users/passwords giving the same error than ODBC.

I use Unix AIX and IDS 7.30.


Anyone can help?

Not sure, but I think that I had same problem with AIX. The problem is in AIX
security and I think that you have to force changing of user password, pick a
new one and than try again.

Do you check the sqlhosts file ?

Do you execute the grant command ?
