Hi,

I'm having trouble compiling utils2_ak on 64 bit SuSE Linux Enterprise
Server 10.
I know there's been similar posts before, but I thought this one had
been resolved in the latest version.
I get the following errors:
make dostats
INFORMIXC=gcc esql -DHAVE_GNU_GETOPT=1 -o dostats dostats.ec
getopt.c
getopt.c: In function ‘exchange’:
getopt.c:241: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
/tmp/ccoGiDW6.o: In function `exchange':
getopt.c.text+0x31): undefined reference to `__alloca'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [dostats] Error 1

Similar errors are thrown up for the other programs in the package.
