| -----Original Message----- From: xps-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:xps-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of Bob Kruse Sent: Monday, January 09, 2006 3:23 PM To: xps@iiug.org Subject: onstat -g xqs ouput [62] Greetings All, Does anyone have any idea how to relate the output from the "onstat -g xqs <plan id>" command to actual dbspaces or chunks? We are trying to optimize performance on an XPS 8.50 server we've built and we have noticed the time for some of the scan threads to be significantly higher for some devices than others from the output in the sqexplain.out file. In the "onstat -g xqs" output, the instance iterator (labeled inst) corresponds to each dbspace in the dbslice where the scanned table is fragmented. I'd like to be able to correlate the inst number to a specific dbspace (or chunk) so I can identify the devices that it is taking longer to scan. Thanks for the input. Cheers, Bob Kruse Cosvr_ID: 1 Plan_ID: 1657 type segid brid information ---- ----- ---- ----------- scan 4 0 inst cosvr time rows_prod rows_scan ---- ----- ---- --------- --------- 0 1 71 247678 1539536 1 1 71 247988 1539088 2 1 70 245837 1528111 3 1 74 245466 1526252 4 1 73 246357 1529553 5 1 72 245947 1531720 6 1 71 246306 1529163 7 1 71 246976 1531645 8 1 96 246369 1529312 9 1 96 246530 1527000 10 1 96 246349 1528117 11 1 96 246148 1529607 12 1 96 246122 1527002 13 1 97 246670 1530640 14 1 96 246073 1528552 15 1 96 246987 1527004 16 1 95 245755 1524992 17 1 96 246943 1527924 18 2 71 248933 1539981 19 2 71 246857 1528630 20 2 71 246677 1529835 21 2 71 247461 1530049 22 2 73 246577 1530402 23 2 69 246753 1526448 24 2 70 247284 1528355 25 2 71 246326 1524950 26 2 96 245975 1528878 27 2 97 245522 1527530 28 2 96 246947 1529729 29 2 96 246566 1530013 30 2 96 246495 1531139 31 2 96 246892 1531234 32 2 96 245922 1527649 33 2 97 245806 1529288 34 2 96 247103 1528058 35 2 96 246628 1528542 36 3 72 247752 1537901 37 3 71 246411 1530586 38 3 71 246956 1527607 39 3 72 246576 1530926 40 3 73 247211 1530410 41 3 71 245744 1527765 42 3 71 246466 1527115 43 3 96 246992 1529368 44 3 96 246391 1530099 45 3 95 246635 1528462 46 3 96 246743 1529960 47 3 97 246101 1528623 48 3 96 246451 1528241 49 3 97 246251 1526132 50 3 96 247102 1529394 51 3 96 246688 1528217 52 3 96 246730 1527898 53 3 94 246266 1530115 54 4 73 248608 1539221 55 4 71 246579 1528584 56 4 81 246571 1528757 57 4 73 246806 1530631 58 4 73 246658 1528397 59 4 71 246954 1529337 60 4 76 247702 1529650 61 4 97 245635 1528278 62 4 96 246638 1528759 63 4 96 245923 1528653 64 4 96 246751 1527280 65 4 96 246802 1528664 66 4 95 245569 1527903 67 4 96 246360 1531233 68 4 96 246656 1529332 69 4 96 246125 1525287 70 4 96 246625 1529188 71 4 95 245902 1529491 -------------------------------------- 72 17755555 110123392 --Boundary_(ID_J+JDjsdB+qvO9yU2GZfOsg) ************************************************** ************************** *** Forum Note: Use "Reply" to post a response in the discussion forum. |
