Default FW: Upgrading from 7.31 to 9.3 - storage requirements

Or if I can put it another way -

am I correct in assuming I can calculate this by

1. calculating the table sizes (rowsize * nrows) ... if update statistics is up to date, and then
2. add to that (index size + 4) * nrows, for each index

Will this be close enough ?

I know that the indexes are detached in version 9, so upgrading from 7 to 9 will require more storage.

Question: Does anyone have a query I can use that will calculate my storage requirements for the upgrade ?

Doesn't your database grow? I would take your assumption and estimate growth
rate for lets say 6 months...
