We have always-on-site IBM support people here, just on the other side of my padded cell-- er, cubicle wall. It constantly amuses me that they are always MUCH busier with DB2 UDB issues than they are with Informix issues. ;-) Paul M. |

I seem to remember they used to have something like this here in the pre-Passport Advantage days - one of my customers had it and we used to get a quarterly digest of our calls and a discussion meeting with a member of the UK Tech Support Team. I don't think it's offered here any more, or if it is, it's not available as a Business Partner offering. Seems a shame though that if there's a useful newsletter produced it couldn't be distributed to larger customers who spend (say) at least US$100k each year on IBM Information Management. I suppose though that if "Premium Support" is a a chargeable option then distributing the newsletter more widely would diminish the premium option. |
