I am trying to install IDS 10 (from the IIUG download area) onto Windows 2000, SP4.
I have downloaded twice, unzipped and run setup.exe and/or launch.exe (which just takes you to setup)
with the same result.
The install aborts no matter what product(s) I select with a message like :
"The installation package could not be opened.Verify that the package exists and that you can open it ..."

My installer (msi.dll) is the latest version (3.1.4000.2435)

What is the trick to install on Windows?

Try running setup.exe in the iif directory. If that fails, what is the
error?
