Default Informix Architecture

Hi all,

I am new to informix and was getting started with it.
Our Company has informix 10.00.FC6 . Could anyone suggest me from
where I could get more info on informix architecture and other basic
information.

Check out the online manuals, specifically the Administrator's Guide and
Reference manuals and the Performance Guide. Also on the IIUG
(International Informix Users Group) web site (www.iiug.org) there are
presentation materials from prior year IIUG Conferences that you can
download and go through. There are several Internals presentations from
the basic to the advanced there. Finally, consider getting your company
to sponsor you to join the IIUG at this year's conference in Lenexa KS
the week of April 27, 2008 where you can experience presentations from
other users and IBM Informix developers and support personel live. See
you in Kansas.

And feel free to monitor and post here in comp.databases.informix.
Every now and then we get a high amount of noise, but there are a lot of
knowledgeable and helpful people out here . . .

By the way, you wouldn't be using Informix with SAP, would you? 8-)
