Hi all,

I have one problem with informix database recently.My client operation
system is Windows2003,server operation system is UNIX.The version of
Informix is 09.40.0000 FC8.I try to connect server's informix database
with WINSQL.But I have one problem that the connection interrupt
within 10 seconds.

If you have an answer for this, I'd love to hear it. If not, any
suggestions on how to troubleshoot it would be wonderful.

WINSQL reported error like this:Error: System error occurred in
network function. (State:S1000, Native Code: FFFF9C14).

FFFF9C14 maps to the integer -25580 which is the Informix error:

> finderr -25580
-25580 System error occurred in network function.

A system call has failed. For assistance, contact your system
administrator
or Technical Support at tsmail@us.ibm.com.

Looks like a network problem caused the connection to drop or the
connection never succeeded.
