Am missing something? So far as I can see IDS is NOT included in this
package (and what use is, for example, ISA without IDS?). And the
"download" page is just for documentation and release notes.

Also I notre that Informix Dynamic Server Enterprise Edition and Express
Edition (but not WorkGroup for some reason) appear in "available" column on
the Evaluation and Trial SOftware download page. (Although if you click on
either the linked page is broken ...!).

Click on the <Trials> from there you can download IDS 11.10 for
Linux-64 or Windows or IDS 10.00 for Linux-32.

Don't know if it's timebombed, but it's there.

Yup, you're right. IDS 11 (Express only) and 10 (Express and Enterprise).
All time-bombed, as you say.
Great stuff!

It should be there soon, and I believe it will also be available from
the IIUG site as well. It is not time bombed but they are a couple of
restrictions - not sure if the restrictions are public domain yet - BUT
the restrictions should not affect most development environments

Cheers

The restrictions were made public at IOD (see
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/bl...ence_wednesday
). Summary: 20 concurrent sessions, 1 CPU, 1GB memory, 8GB database size.

Interesting. If I read this correctly, all Mach 11 features are
available, including HDR / ER, I'd guess. Wow!

No time bomb, either?

Still not available for download yet (unless I missed it) . . . still
watching.

Oh yeah, Sam, looks like the developer version for Mac OS X is in . . . cool
