Default ism disk device full

hello,

I have a strange problem making a backup on a "disk device" with ism:
sometimes the volume appear "full" instead "100%" and the volume is not
more writeable (backup hang). The filesystem is not full (30%).

Why?

Thanks!
DKano

---------------------
Normally

> ism_show -volumes

volume pool flags written (%) expires
VOL01 ISMDiskData 1520 MB 100% 12/19/07

Sometimes

> ism_show -volumes

volume pool flags written (%) expires
VOL01 ISMDiskData 1520 MB full 12/19/07
^^^

Yes. Legato under another name.

Well I have seen

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...id=swg21207941

"If you do not set the device capacity explicitly, the Informix Storage

Manager (ISM) will use the default settings based on the device type.
Normally, you can use the set_capacity option to set the capacity for
a volume while labeling it. However, the set_capacity option is not
working when labeling a volume with ism_op command."

Affects all ISM versions on all platforms.
