is there anybody who works with a odbc-connection from a aiy maschine to
a informix db?

because we plan to initiate a connection like this.

Hi Uwe,

you might be able to recompile the INformix 7.3 components available
at http://www.openlinksw.com against your database. I have had this
working against several Release of Online and SE of 7.3 and 7.2.
However, there is no guarantee this will work against 7.1.
