Default Which ODBC drivers

My customer is currently using Informix-SE 7.25 on Solaris (?). They have
access to the database from windows using PowerBuilder through PowerBuilder
provided ODBC. What is the preceived wisdom regarding which odbc drivers to
use?

They have commented that the database access is much slower than they had
expected. Tomorrow I'm teaching them about the Query Optimizer and Update
Statistics which I think will help a little, but as it is SE won't help
much. Also be aware that we have to tread very carefully as the database
files are also accessed with C-ISAM.

regards

Malcolm
