| Running IDS Version 9.40.UC5 on Redhat AS 3.0. Onbar backup performance is great... verify performance is atrocious. We get about 40M/sec on backup, but verify is taking about 45seconds/Meg. I've searched and googled to no avail... has anyone seen similar or does nayone know of a known bug? -- DCP |

Informix (IBM) identified this as a known bug (#439537) that has been fixed in a recent release of IDS 10. They are creating a patch for our 9.40UC5 install. -- DCP |

| I'd be very happy if "onbar -v" would work at least. More than 50% of runs (point-in-time verification) it just core dumps and that's it. If I try to restore from such non-verified backup everything is fine, onchecks don't report any problems (and neither do our clients :-)). Hmmm...
