I have a test system utilizing ER on linux. What I am trying to do is
to archive the target server late at night. The majority of the time
it works with no problem. Occasionally the server will crash with a
"Assert Failed: INFORMIX-OnLine Must ABORT Critical media failure".
Again, this only happens when ontape is running. If I change and put
another tape in the drive, it usually runs. I am running 9.40.uc2 and
linux 2.4.18-14smp. Has anyone seen something like this?
