Dear All-

We are facing problem while connecting database remotely on a particular
instance (7.31.UC6AX7 on HP UX 11.00).

=20

On the same host we have instances of same version as well as different
version to which we could successfully connect from remote hosts. On
UNIX , we have taken care of .rhosts / hosts.equiv setting and are able
to rlogin to the destination host. The ids that we are using on both the
servers are same.

Also we observed that the same problem does'nt arise when we tried to
connect using Informix user Id. The problem occurs only with normal
users ids.

Please let me know the solution for the same.
