In 9.x IDS databases. Say I am doing a large dbload into a normal table and
someone
kicks off a level 0 archive (don't ask).

Do before images from the physical log get put into temp tables on 9.21?
Does this change with 9.40.UC3?

Someone said that in 9.x the physical log is redundant...but isn't it needed
for this??

I couldn't see anything about physical logs, temp space and level 0 archives
in the 9.40
manuals!
