RE: anything like MS-SQL "truncate" function in Informix?

I was wrong, it's only in XPS right now. However, it is
documented in the 9.4 SQL Syntax manual for some strange
reason.

Is that right?
I attended a briefing recently when this was heralded as a feature coming in
9.5.
