this is part of what I previously suggested the support team could talk
about at a future UK user Group meeting

they have presented on this at a number of Infobahns and User group
meetings around Europe

Email the Steering Committee for the UK Usergroup with a suggestion...
uk@iiug.org and we'll take a look at it.

We would need at least a suggested duration and list of topics to be
covered.

One thing I would like to see promoted more and probably mentioned at
the
next Usergroup meeting would be the Informix offers page...

http://www.ibm.com/software/data/informix/offers/

Not just the winback stuff I just posted but the other offers as well!

I just spotted this!

David.

Not sure I agree with promoting this page. This offer seems particularly
interesting

"DB2 Migration Toolkit for IDS v7.3 and v9".

Funny really cause I cannot find one about

"IDS Migration Toolkit for DB2"

I think IBM need to get there act together and make sure the
documentation and employee talk from the same page and not give
conflicting messages.
Hell you might as well add the top management to that :-)

Is the wrinting on the wall. Well we will all speculate until we hear
and read different from IBM.

Well the first 2 links on that page are:-

IBM Database Winback Pricing

... to DB2 Universal Database or Informix Dynamic Server

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

and

"Trade-ins from qualified competitor products to IDS V9"
