| David urged: >Check out http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data...x/ids/support/ Colin quipped: > That's been around for quite some time, have you only just found it? After all, David, the IBM site is so friendly, how could you have missed it? Actually, there are some great pages on the IBM site. I am a huge fan of the IBM Informix Dynamic Server v10.0 Information Center, even though we use 9.4. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce.../v10/index.jsp Besides searching all the docs at once, being able to email the exact page in The Friendly Manual to a developer who won't pick up the book is even more satisfying than putting the entire pdf in his print queue. However, it can be difficult to find the really good pages, especially as the links have a tendency to change. Sometimes, the page you really would love to have is only a couple of links away. I usually use Google to surf the IBM site, but why not the collective bookmarks of the informix-list and comp.databases.informix? In a festive spirit of let's-try-not-bashing-IBM, what are some other good Informix pages you use which everyone should know about? I don't care if everyone knows about them, just try to make certain they work at time of posting, is all I ask. How long do you think it will take this to get off topic? sending to informix-list |

| For once I'm not IBM bashing!!! :->> Check this (edited) link http://www.ibm.com/software/data/inf...y/ids_100.html In the middle is "Complete Documentation Set for IDS 10.0" download ALL the IDS 10 manuals in one zip file. Unzip into a new folder and there is an index.html so you can link it to your corporate website! |
