Subject: BTREE SCANNER monitoring and tuning.

I understand there are several onstat options,

onstat -C prof/hot/part/clean/range/all

But are there any whitepapers, or any kind of documentation that tells
you what
all this information means, what is good what is bad, and how to tune
the
darn things (I know the onconfig entry, but again, guidelines) ?

I have looked through the manuals....unless I missed something.

IF nothing exists....would there be any interest in this as a Chat with
the Labs or something?

Not that I have the power to make that happen, but maybe one of you
IBM-ers can

g_onstat.zip - it is Mark Scranton's onstat document...
