| Hypothetically, when you begin the restore, you should have all the information from the Level-0 forward , which includes the information about level-1. The engine checks two places, the ixbar file and the sysutils.bar_* tables. Unless you have them in place, the backup will very likely fail. I have done the restore using the "Manipulated" ixbar file for a full point in time restore, but did'nt have to use the level-1, which prevents me from affirming my opinion.
