Default RE: coppereye anyone ? .... and onchecks

We have just started looking at 4Js new database - claims to be 100%
Informix compatible (actually Oracle and others too, but we're not
interested in them) , and lock free (and WELL cheap!).

So far it seems to do just what it says on the tin, apart from DBDATE (US
format dates only dammit). And its fast.

I wonder what IBM thinks about one of its supposed top partners advocating
another db in competition with Informix. And even worse, in compettion with
DB2!
