Dear All,
Problem was with the unmatched architecture of IDS and AIX Kernel. I had AIX 64-bit and IDS 32-bit. To check the current AIX Kernel architecture use:

# bootinfo -K

Subject: Error on starting instance of IDS 10

Hi all,
We have installed IDS10 on AIX 5.3. During starting instance of Informix we have received the following exception;

# oninit
IOT/Abort trap

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Navaid Arif
