verses

hmm error persists. ipcs shows no useful output 0 nothing attached
unsurprising since informix crashes with the errors in my other post.

had been up 5 days when I just checked. I've just rebooted the machine.
I've tried several values and all seem to fail....I'm stumped.

Has the database got as far as created any files in the INFORMIXTMP
directory? I have seen files in that directory halt database startup
with similar errors.
