I asked where he got my email address from and, surprise surprise, never got
a response........ The email address I use for the IIUG is not used for
anything else.

Well I am not on any Informix list, and I occasionally post to cdi thru NNTP/Outlook
express.
I still got one to this rkusenet address.

We spoke (he is real) and exchanged mails. But at this stage I am not interested in moving
to NY. Happy in Toronto.

BTW I find it bit strange that someone would scavenge email addresses from newsgroup
to find candidates.

Having in a very dodgy previous life worked in recruitment, most of time
the email trawls are for companies using a product rather specific
individuals. Just a way of find out who is using similar products etc.
