Where did you get a version 10.00.TC3R1T1 from?

I didn't know you could get 7 characters after the second full stop
(period).

I asked a colleague if he knew anything about such a version - and he was
equally mystified.
And he didn't think that the message existed in current versions of IDS,
unless I misread his message.

I'm involved in a project using 9.40.FC2W2X2 at the moment, which is a
patched version of 9.40.FC2W2 (whatever that is!)

FC2 is the normal release version
W2 is a "fix pack" or "pid drop" that's a release with some patches
(cumulative). It's only available in some platforms and AFAIK only
support can make it available to customers (not in PA).
X2 is a second patch, with some bugs that needed correction for a
specific customer environment.

Regards.

its my understanding there was no TC3R1 released on windows, the R1
release was only done one UNIX

also the TC3E was produced as the Time Limited release

so I am really unclear where TC3R1TL is coming from

can you please confirm the output of onstat -V or oninit -V please

Oops! I mean

IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 10.00.TC3ET

Althought the release notes (idse_win_release_notes_10.0.html) start
with:-

"Release Notes for IBM Informix Dynamic Server Express Edition for
Windows
Platforms
10.00.TC3E, 1 July 2005 "

so it is TC3E or TCE3T? and why do half the files under the release
directory contain

"Documentation Notes for the IBM Informix Guide to SQL: Syntax
10.00.xC2 9 May 2005 "

xC2? or

"Documentation Notes for the IBM Informix Dynamic Server
Administrator's
Reference
10.00.xC3 1 July 2005 "

xC3?

Can we get the number consistent across the docs?
