| Christine, I can't find an electronic copy of the charter but I do recall that the president is elected by the board. It doesn't say when or how, or for how long. So, if the new board don't like Stuart as president I suggest that they vote him out. However, he might not get elected as a board member if enough people stand for the election and poll enough votes to vote him off. I do think it is time that we had a different, non-US president. But that's just my personal opinion. I don't think many of the original board members ever thought that one person would stay as president for this length of time. Perhaps Walt or Hal or Jerry could give us the historical perspective. The By-laws simply states that the board will elect the president and it seems to make sense that it would be the newly elected board rather than the outgoing board. On another note, the Charter seems to have disappeared from the website. Anybody have a copy handy before I start digging through by backups?
