| David - IIUG is NOT the marketing arm/division of IBM, we share successes as soon as we get them (you have a few of them on the home page). So, if you manage to have some more, we will add and advertise them... Jerry - you know how IIUG is organized and you know why we act like that, so why are you considering/treating us like that? Really, do you think IIUG should fight IBM because we do not have "Warning: Dinosaurs crossing." ads? When you are trying to reach goals, you can do it violently and piss everyone off or you can play it the gandi-way... BTW, can anyone send me the picture of the ad? > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org > [mailto > Sent: Wednesday, November 30, 2005 00:24 > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: RE: Insider #65: Highlights: IIUG Board of 2006 > elections, Informix > > See below for answers to all your questions... > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org > [mailto > On Behalf Of david@smooth1.co.uk > Sent: Tuesday, November 29, 2005 1:03 PM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: Re: Insider #65: Highlights: IIUG Board of 2006 > elections, Informix > > > Well apparently my nomination was 'lost' - the email was not received. > ---hmmmmm,,,never heard that one before. > > So I'm out of the race.
