| It's quite probable that you hae a large transaction that the system is trying to roll-back. In fact the onstat -l and onstat -x that you have posted show precisely that. The transaction begins in logid 33 and fills all remaining logical logs. I assume that you must have LTCHWM and LTXEHWM set above the recommended 50 and 60. Otherwise this couldn't happen. About the only thing that you can do is to grovel to IBM/Informix tech support, grease their palms with silver or probably platinum, and pray. Who configured this system? It looks remarkably poorly configured IMHO Regards Malcolm -----Original Message----- From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org [mailto On Behalf Of Thomas Ronayne Sent: 14 February 2005 17:16 To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Logical Log Files are Full -- Backup is Needed I've got this in online.log: Mon Feb 14 10:12:40 2005 10:12:40 Event alarms enabled. Can somebody please tell me what the magic incantation is? Thanks. sending to informix-list |
