You can play round with this a little, by restoring on the old version of the opsys, or going straight to the new version of the opsys, but the old version of IDS. And if you want to change the layout of your database, install the old version, then populate across the network by switching off transaction logging, loading, enabling transaction logging, and then doing the inplace upgrade ...... sending to informix-list |
