| Hi, What I really miss in ER is a good monitoring aid. We have just established ER in a quite big customer in Spain, replicating 73 servers against two clustered ones (some of the replicates were consolidating data, some other ones were disseminating). Yes, it's been a long weekend. We ended up with more than 13.000 replicates, and I didn't count the participants. Another issue that would be really cool for environments like our customer's would be to allow ER to work in a 'cascading' mode: if you must replicate from node A to B and C, and from node B to C you must create two replicates, one with three participants (ABC) and another one with two(BC): it would be 'lighter' to allow data from A to B to replicate to C using the B to C replicate. And another one would be to allow replication to be 'serialized' against a server, (maybe using a parameter?). If you have several CDR threads some operations will travel faster than previous ones (for example, replicates run commands were arriving to some servers prior to replicates creation). Hope it helps, -- José Luis Matute Ben Thompson dijo: > mosserp@wellsfargo.com wrote: > >> BTW, from the limited testing that I have done so far on 9.40 (we are >> trying to migrate from 9.30.FC4XC to 9.40.FC6W1, both on HPUX 11), it >> looks like HDR *is* getting to be more bullet-proof.
