RE: unable to execute binary file error:ISQL on Linux

At what point does I-SQL fail? Is it the installation script,
installsql or does installsql succeed, but afterwards the isql command
fails? If the former is true, your installation file probably didn't
actually contain a Linux product. The IBM PPA site has recently had a
terrible time getting the right labels on their download files.

This link should give you some ideas on how to check what flavor of
install file you have.
