Have one client with a 400+GB database doing over 3Billion page updates
a day on 10.00FC6. Does that qualify as coping?

It's all about configuring a sufficient hardware software system and
tuning it properly.

We assist in administering a 18TB install, the transaction is not huge
though - a thousand or so per second. The only real problem are the
backups - takes a while.

Oh and silly things like hitting the 32GB limit on a single extent.
Performance ? Simply stunning

Cheers

Failure is not as frightening as regret.
If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.
