Were you at the Information on Demand conference?
It was pretty "blitzy" there.
There was a chat with the labs the other day ('run Cheetah run') (I
missed it, I was at IBM Oracle->DB2 class).

Subject: Whither Informix?

I thought there was going to be some kind of news/media blitz for
Informix 10?

I keep waiting and watching but haven't seen anything but that awful CRN
news item.

What happened?

Possibly he means an information blitz to the public at large, rather than
the occasional "Preach to the choir" event ...?

DE, the invite was sent to the IIUG mailing list.
You didn't tick the "don't send me any email" button did you?

Cheers

Patience. Marketing refers to this as a drum roll.
They start slow and low.
Any news on Cheetah will be tightly controlled by marketings time line.

Serge,

One thing I can count on, and that is your consistency.

You respond once again with a non sequitur.

You write with such incoherence it's amazing.

1. What invite?
2. What button?

WTF are you talking about!

The beauty of "it"....
Which "it" do you mean?
"it" the chat with the labs brought up by NJ.
or "it" the media blitz

Aside what do you expect to get for an answer with a sentence so screwed
up that Capt. Pedantic didn't even bother pointing out its flaws ;-)

Cheers

Oh! after further research I think the "it" you meant was your "attendance":
Let me take out the red-pen:
If I _had_been_ at the conference you would have heard about it.

Cheers
