Exactly. Do I know when a new release of Oracle comes out.... without
going to look? No. There is a tiny tiny percentage of the 'public'
that even knows what an RDBMS is; a public blitz would be pointless
waste of money.

IBM *DID* do a public blitz for LINUX, at least in the USA. But
primarily to get suits to connect the term "LINUX" with IBM ( = "Serious
stuff"). Notice they didn't include anything specific in that blitz;
just "LINUX is good". That is probably as deep and as specific as a
"public blitz" can go.

This is just another excuse for people who like to bitch to bitch.

That and the product has been out like a week?
