Default Are rowids always in increasing order?

Hi,

I wonder if anyone one knows if IDS (9.3) asigns rowids in increasing order?

I mean Always.

In the documentation it i stated that:

"The database server assigns to each row in the rowid column a unique number that remains stable for the life of the row."

But I haven't found any indication that the numbers asigned to the rowdis are always choosed in increasing order.

If anyone know, let me know . I'll appreciate it a lot.

Chucho!

No.

Where in the documentation does it say that?
