| Hi, my distant family. :-( A few years ago, I posted monitor-space.shar, a shell archive whose ceterpiece was dbspace-pages.sh. (It got posted as monitor_space, with an underscore instead of the dash). Anyway, I recently ran the script against an OnLine 7 server where the the addresses in "onstat -d" were only 7 hex digits instead of the 8 I was expecting in the AWK part of my script. The output was just as pretty but somewhat useless. (Actually, utterly useless.) In response, I made a small change in the pattern-matching string. IMHO the newer one is cleaner, besides being more flexible. Rather than download monitor-space.shar and recreate it with the new dbspace-pages.sh, I have simply uploaded the new dbspace-pages to the IIUG library as an independent entry. I don't know how long it will take to get posted by the webmaster but it should have an upload date of 2006-09-10 or later. And it will probably get posed as dbspace_pages. Someone does not like dashes. Enjoy! -- Jacob |
