| I subscribed for this event, but yesterday I got a mail that this day is cancelled because of the low number of enrolments. Is no one of the European users is interested in this event? http://www-304.ibm.com/jct03001c/ser...s/xx/en?pageTy pe=page&c=a0009740 |

| Special Informix Day on May 16 in The Hague"Willaert Doris" <Doris.Willaert@alcopa2wheels.com> wrote in message news:mailman.15.1147342248.19084.informix-list@iiug.org... Similarly with the IDUG/Informix conference in Tampa. |

I can't say I knew about it. It looks very interesting actually but I don't know if my boss would allow me or a .NET developer to go. He probably would if we could make a good case for it. It's costly to attend though with the fee, travel, hotels and work not done because you're out of the office. Carlton Doe is a very good speaker but he gave the same or a similar presentation at the UK Informix User Group meeting in Warwick last year which was a free event and we can get there and back in a day, which is not to say that it isn't worth paying for. IBM have been pushing an Infobahn at us through phone calls and emails. That is in London but that seems to be sales driven thing and we're only really interested in technical events. When I told them this they didn't mention this event at The Hague. Ben. |

Left hand and right hand .... |
