Default Table Modification Notification?
Oracle has a view dba_tab_modification that will allow me to check if
a table has been modified or not. Does Informix have something
similar?

You might wish to look at auditing. You can be selective as to what
you audit, even down to who you are auditing.

Check out the Trusted Facility Manual

Ok, thanks for the info. Yes, auditing is a non-straight forward
option, but has too much overhead. Just looking for something that
would provide more of a flag if a table was modified or not...

But thanks anyway...
