Default v 9 stopping
I've having an odd problem with informix 9 running on Windows 2000
server. Sometimes the server seems to panic and shuts itself off. It
can be restarted from the services screen under admin options. It is
not always busy when it happens. Are there log files somewhere that can
tell me what is going on? Is there an admin for informix that I can use
to check config options?

search for a dir called
informix
(assume you installed it there)
in there you should have a subdir called etc
in there you should find a file
called onconfig.<informixserver>
search for MSGPATH which has the name of your logfile
