Hi

I am using .informix 7.33 on HP-ux 11.x

what are all the things i have to do monitor the perf. for cpu
utilization.

now numcpuvps is 2.

i plan it to increase it to 4.

which part of the stats i have to see to for the improvement in
performance.

how many cpu's do you have???

if # of cpus = 2 then do not change.

qry/transaction responce time i guess...

obtain stats using sar.... iostat..
look at how many logs/hr are produced; dono it depends on your system.
