Just migrated out OpenROAD and ABF systems to an AIX box running 2.6
sp2 and the GCC C compiler

Whenever we try to rebuild our old ABF applications we get

ld: 0711-781 ERROR: TOC overflow. TOC size: 289508 Maximum size: 65536
collect2: ld retruened 12 exit status
E_AB0020 Link failed
The link failed with status '2310'. This could mean either that
the linker could not be run or that it ran and returned an error


I assume TOC is Table of Contents but how do I increase it ??
