| Sven, Your "ingprenv" command is working fine. However, your big problem is really that the file $II_SYSTEM/files/symbol.dat has been truncated. This file contains vital configuration data and is updated when you stop/start Ingres. Unfortunately, when you are in a disk-full scenario, this file can get truncated and the contents lost. This bug seems unsolvable, as it has existed in Ingres since at least 1991. Recovering this file from a backup will probably be fine, as the information that changes in this file is usually only the socket number used for the listener.
